We thank our partners for their generous support
The staunch support of these four key partners help the Chair accomplish its mission: find new ways to prevent and treat cancer.
Nautilus Plus
At the instigation of CEO Richard Blais, Nautilus Plus created the Richard Béliveau Fund in 2008 and pledged an annual donation of $100,000 per year for a period of 5 years benefiting our cause. This amount can be further increased through other financing activities among Nautilus Plus members, including the yearly fundraising event “30-minute workout to help out the Fund” and the sale of programs, including Zero Diet nutritional services.
THANK YOU!
Metro
A donation of $200,000 for the Chair in Cancer Prevention and Treatment at UQAM has been confirmed by Metro. This important contribution will allow the Chair to continue its research dedicated to the identification of diet-derived molecules with chemopreventive properties and to train qualified research personnel. “We will be able to better understand the anticancer mechanism of action of certain food compounds as well as the impacts of various risk factors, including obesity and inflammation”.
Le H4C
In 2015, Restaurant H4C launched “Mardis Gens d’affaires, Gens de cœur”, a project showcasing Quebec business leaders and their company. These events serve both as fundraising evenings for research and as an outreach opportunity where participants learn about the benefits of a healthy diet on cancer prevention. The ticket price includes a gourmet anticancer meal with wine pairings, as well as a sizeable donation to the Richard Béliveau Fund benefiting the Chair in Cancer Prevention and Treatment. THANK YOU!
