Milk hits some sour notes

Drinking milk at an adult age is a genetic adaptation which occurred recently in evolution and which is present in only a minority of humans. According to recent studies, this tolerance to lactose provides little significant benefit, because the consumption of milk does not reduce the risk of fractures and can even slightly increase the risk of prostate
