A security breach in a laboratory dedicated to the study of dangerous viruses
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) recently determined that a Canadian employee of Chinese origin working at the Canadian Science Center for Human and Animal Health in Winnipeg shared data with Chinese authorities on viruses studied in a P4 containment level laboratory. A very worrying leak, when we consider the extreme dangerousness of the viruses that are normally kept under close surveillance in these P4 laboratories. Download the column
