Cancer: chance rather than heredity
A very important study has just confirmed that our high risk of cancer is due to the genetic mutations which form spontaneously, through simple chance, over the course of our lives. This discovery underlines the importance of adopting a lifestyle capable of restraining the progression of these cancerous cells into mature cancer. We are not able to control the risk of cancerous mutations, but we can prevent their evolution into a clinically relevant cancer. Download this column
