Dietary fibre against allergic asthma?

Allergic asthma is caused by a disproportionate immune response which causes inflammation of the bronchial tubes and makes breathing difficult. Along with the well-known role of certain allergens present in the air, surprising results published in the very prestigious journal Nature Medicine suggest that a deficiency in dietary fibre could also contribute to the development of this form of allergy.
